First time I've submitted in awhile, and my own painting at that. It's the latest thing I've done and kinda runs with the theme of my last journal entry.

It also seems to encompass how I'm feeling about life at the moment. Like I'm sitting there on my rock and the world around me is poisoned and floating belly-up.

*some won't notice the fish, fullview please

wow. I saw this in my messages and it is awesome :)
Partly why I love watercolour, you can have such soft colours and the way it all seems to flow and blend...

It is a pity about the mood but is represented very well, especially with the fish that seem to be camouflaged with the dark water

beautifully painted, and the mood really shows. those dead fishes flow beautifully among the waves. i don't mean that dead fish and what they prensent here are beautiful but the way you did them is. that pose is wonderful, it says so much.

and i like the color choices too - subtle grays, browns, blues, greens etc and then that yellow! very effective and beautiful :nod:

Thx muchly for the :+fav: and your comments. I don't know what it is about me and watercolour... Lotsa people say it's so hard to work with, but I usually I seem to have luck creating something...

I think it all involves turning off rational thought... er... just thought in general.

Thank you sooo much for your support. I was just pointing out that we do often overlook the 'dead fish' in life (what some people call 'optimism'? S:\ ) but the fact remains, they ARE there, and something needs to be done about them.
